Well, I am a foodie but not a big fan of Cafe’s and Coffee. Being a Tea-lover I would rather spend time at the Tea-stalls than visiting the Cafe’s. But I got to know about this health cafe that opened in my city, Vadodara, few months back, and I had to visit.
For folks who do not know it is – Freshco – The Health Cafe.
Address : Ground Floor, Trivia Complex, Nr Natubhai Circle.
I ordered a Panini, The Mid eastern (Hummus with Shug Suace) and a Masala Tea, sorry cannot do without a Tea.
They were also giving away free samplings on account of the Environment day that was celebrated on the 5th June.
Ambience : Perfect. Nice soothing music played that further enhanced the ambience.
Food : I loved the Tea. The Panini was good too. There are good options to choose from Smoothies, Salads, Juices, Tea and Coffee.
Service : You will have to serve yourself here. The desk was supportive. Pritesh, one of the owners who was at the Cashier desk, did help me out in choosing what to pick. I got my Panini without much waiting, though had to wait a little for the Tea, but the wait was worthy.
Wifi : Free. Enjoy!!
Timings – 7am-11pm : One interesting feature of the Cafe being; It opens from 7:00 am in the morning. For people who are running back from there gyms in the morning and passing by this road can have some healthy breakfast here.
Budget: I will not say its heavy on pocket. The tea cost Rs 49/- and the Panini Rs 129/-. If you need healthy food, good ambience and free Wifi, this should be affordable.
The start up is owned by four owners : Vishwaroop Joshi, Harsh Vora, Mangesh Holihosur & Pritesh Mistry and the concept of introducing a Health cafe is first in the city. I liked it and I think the Barodians are also liking it.
Have you been here or any health cafe earlier ? Please share your experience or any interesting ideas that you came across.
